Format: Knockout (two-game matches, blitz and Armageddon tiebreaks). Players are seeded by rating (the top seeds get any byes). Each match is two games, one with each color; the winner advances and the loser is out. Level after two games: two 3+2 blitz games with colors reversed; still level: one Armageddon game (White 5 minutes, Black 3 minutes, a draw counts as a win for Black; colors by coin toss). The winner of the final is the champion, and the two semifinal losers play a third-place match in the same format.
Prizes: 1st $100 · 2nd $50 · 3rd $25. Cash prizes for tied places are pooled and split evenly. Prizes are paid after the organizer certifies the fair-play review; winners claim them within 30 days.
